Bobcat Badge

bobcat

If your youth has not been a scout before or did not earn their Bobcat patch, this is the first thing they MUST work on right away! Refer to their handbook. Each night have them practice all eight tracks for the Bobcat Trail. Notify a den leader as soon as they have these mastered. During the pack meeting, you and your child will be in front of their peers as they say and do these requirements. No worries! We will be there to guide and assist them if needed. At this time, they will receive their Bobcat pin, which will be pinned on upside down. To have their pin turned right side up, they will need to do five good deeds (that are not normal chores) during the next few weeks. At the next monthly pack meeting, they will need to tell what five good deeds they did.

There are 7 requirements to earn your Bobcat Badge. It is the first requirement for all new cub scouts including Tigers, Wolves, Bears & Webelos. We will be awarding the Bobcat Badge at our first Pack Meeting, but your scout can earn it throughout the year as well.
